Chatham Field Projects

Neglia Group (Neglia) was selected by the Borough of Chatham to provide Surveying, Engineering Design, and Construction Management Services for two of their recent park improvement projects. The Borough found both Lum Field and Shepard Kollock Park in need of rehabilitation. Below are the project details of the services that were provided.

• Lum Field project consisted of installation of a new artificial turf field with two baseball fields to replace the existing natural turf field
• Shepard Kollock Park project consisted of reconstructing the natural turf field, drainage improvements, and a new 1/3 mile walking path
• Neglia conducted topographic surveys of the sites in accordance to the rules of the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (NJAC 13:40-5.1), as well as, prepared all required NJDEP and local permit applications for these projects
• Neglia was also responsible for the preparation of detailed civil engineering site plans and specifications and on site construction management services during the construction phase of each project
