Kean Alumni Stadium Field and Track Improvements

Neglia Group (Neglia) was selected by Kean University to provide Engineering Design and Construction Management Services for the installation of an artificial turf field at Alumni stadium. Below are the project details of the services that were provided.

• Neglia verified that as-built conditions of the site, expanded the drainage system, and designed the layout of the turf field and track
• A topographic survey was conducted in accordance with the rules of the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (NJAC 13:40-5.1)
• Neglia prepared calculations and plans to be submitted to the Somerset/Union Conservation Service in order to obtain a Soil Erosion Conservation District Certification
• Neglia prepared detailed civil engineering site plans and a bound report of construction specifications for the proposed artificial turf with multi-purpose athletic field and track
• Construction management and daily construction inspection and approval of contractor payment requests was also overseen by Neglia, as well as site civil design work
